  • Accurately maintains the company's accounting system; keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets; audits general ledger to confirm correct posting methods and balances.
  • Develops, analyzes, and interprets financial information in order to appraise performance against budget; prepares reports for executive team detailing the financial performance of the Company.
  • Works with the Company’s independent auditors to complete the annual audit in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Works with the Company’s commercial bank to provide required compliance reports and borrowing base certificates.
  • Performs monthly bank reconciliations, and analyzes and reports significant variances.
  • Conducts monthly physical inventory count; and analyzes and reports significant variances.
  • Manages accounts payable, including: reviewing all invoices to ensure products or services were received, comparing invoice pricing and terms to purchase orders and vendor contracts, securing all supporting documentation (e.g., purchase orders, packing slips, receipts), confirming authorized approvals, securing all appropriate discounts and rebates, posting invoices to Peachtree accounting system, ensuring timely payment of invoices while maximizing cash flow.
  • Works with the Company’s tax advisor to facilitate the timely filing of income tax returns and sales tax returns.
  • Files annual reports.
  • Embedding Free Cash Flow mindset and influence cross functional team in improving Free Cash Flow
  • Education & Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economic with minimum 3 years and experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proven working experience as a accountant
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications (i.e. SAP and Hyperion)
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
  • Understanding of business practices
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Able to speak and write in English
