  • Ensure all Accounting Dept members have the right service oriented attitude to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all Accounting Dept members have the right competencies, understand what are expected from them in relation to the new organization & system, and perform and contribute accordingly.
  • Implement accounting procedures to produce accurate and timely financial reports and information for management decision making.
  • Supervise closing of the books at the financial month-end and the preparation of monthly balance and ensure monthly bank statements for all accounts are accurately reconciled.
  • Prepare and submit accounting statements as well as monthly financial performance report as required at monthly board meetings and for consolidation purposes.
  • Liaison with external & internal auditor and tax consultants on statutory audits and tax computation
  • Compile and prepare operating budgets and financial forecasts for all departments when required, and also provide routine financial analysis.
  • Manage and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all accounting operational activities such as Account Payable, Account Receivables, General Ledgers, Bank Reconciliation records, Month End Closing, Year End Closing, Write-Off, etc.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of financial control programs and procedures to increase efficiency of the procedures.
  • Monitor the project pipeline prepared by Marketing to ensure the achievement of the target.
  • Manage the human resources within the unit, including manpower planning, hiring, people development, performance management and employee morale.
  • Implement the Safety and Health program related.
     
 
Specific Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor Degree from Accounting from reputable university
  • Possess Brevet A & B certificate
  • Minimum 4 (four) years of working experience as an Accounting & Costing
  • Minimum 2 (two) years experiances as external auditor in reputable public accounting firm
  • Minimum 2 (two) years working experiance in managerial level
  • Strong integrity
  • Knowledge in accounting & costing treatments
  • Reasonable knowledge in using relevant MS. Office applications, and excellent proficiency in using spreadsheet and financial tools
  • Possess good communications skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment
  • Good project management and time management skill
