This job is responsible for providing Archives administrative assistance, interpreting record retention schedules, requesting physical records from storage, and identifying records for destruction. Position will coordinate the workflow of the physical records and provide feedback to the supervisor/manager. Assist IT as a first level hardware and software support.
IT Manager
Archives Responsibility:
  • Responsible to collect, retrieve, index and track physical records for both on and off site storage
  • Ensuring a high level proficiency and company compliance by establishing and working with business and support function contacts, interpret existing retention periods and identify retention periods for new records
  • Monitor the integrity of the records center database by ensuring accurate data input and timely updates of all pertinent data
  • Review and confirm physical record retention periods prior input into the records management system
  • Create and issue records report as needed
  • Coordinate the physical records destruction process including the review of records prior to destruction
  • Respond to personal, telephone and email and written enquiries from business or support function
  • Support business for the administrative process
IT Support responsibility:
  • First level of contact in all computer hardware and software problem and request
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Responsible to maintain printer toner stock and scheduling for regular maintenance
  • Maintains inventory of computers hardware and IT peripheral
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Administrative Science or Library Management
  • Computer skills
  • Able to communicate in local language and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Documents and Archives management
  • Must have strong Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment in configuration, support and troubleshooting
  • Handle phone-in problems & escalation of problem
  • Ability to lift up boxes up to 15 kg
