Position Overview:
The Installation Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of action plans for all site activities in the project. The Installation Supervisor must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, manage large teams of personnel, detect unstated assumptions, communicate and provide clear messaging, resolve conflicts, manage a safe work environment, as well as more general management skills.
Key among his/her duties is the recognition that risk directly impacts the likelihood of success and that this risk must be both formally and informally measured throughout the lifetime of the project. The Installation Supervisor needs to lessen risk significantly, often by adhering to a policy of open communication, ensuring every significant stakeholder has an opportunity to express opinions and concerns.
Installation Supervisor must use tools to organise their tasks and workforce, and communicate this with the team and customer. He/she will monitor and coordinate the project work on site in accordance with plans, budgets, quality and contractual requirements. The Installation Supervisor leads on-site discussions and negotiations with the customer, suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Responsible for oversight of all site activities in project execution. Site activities include site establishment, installation supervision of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation, commissioning and site demobilisation;
  • Responsible for implementation of Tetra Pak safety policies during all site activities including pre-planning, review of safe work plans and monitoring of safe work methods during execution;
  • Secure project deliverables according to project agreement (the contract) with customer and suppliers and act according to responsibilities in the project charter;
  • Breakdown and plan the site activities into phases and fulfill the plan and project milestones in time and in full according to installation budget;
  • Drive productivity in project through utilization of processes and tools; 
  • Manage scope changes and communicate these to Project Manager;
  • Maintain communication and documentation for all site activities according to project communication plan;
  • Give input to lesson learned for improvement or development of processes and tools.
  • Bachelor or Master degree from reputable university, prefered from Mechanical engineering
  • Around 2-3 years experience in similar role
  • Fluency in local language as well as English
  • Good communication skills

  • Willing to travel around Region (60-70%)
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, MS Project and AutoCAD
