Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, preferable in Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics) 
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Supervisory level on material Engineering/ Warehousing
  • Deep understanding on Aviation safety standards and Safe Operating Practices
 
Functional Duties:
  • Implement Material and Tool Forecast for all maintenance check on three months basis and yearly basis as per pre draw list given by the planning
  • Scrutinize the Component Removal Forecast for the fleet, evaluate for purchasing if necessary
  • Implement completes annual physical stock takes and additional stock takes according to requests from the finance and Accounting Department or from Material Department itself for spares, material and tools
  • Monitor and evaluate the stock level of AOG, Critical and initial provisioning (IP) spares, material and tools and follow it up to unit concern
  • Implement that all spares materials and tools held at all warehouse are properly segregated, packed, racked, controlled and documented in such a manner so as to comply to the company policy and Regulatory requirement and implement FIFO system for all spares and materials are issued
  • Ensure and review for proper stocks (stock level review) & update the record for components and materials are issued
  • Ensure and review for proper stocks (stock level review) & update the record for components and material, received, stocked and issue to user with the aim to the optimum service level
  • Ensure proper monitoring and control of shelf life items for material and calibration due date for tools
  • Ensure the most cost effective method of shipment to dispatch material to hubs
  • Identify training needs and training of subordinates with necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties and liaise with quality assurance department to conduct training
  • Attend or assign officer represent Material Department on daily station meeting to ensure all aircraft spares and tools required for maintenance which under procurement or repair are well informed to respective departments
 
Role Duties:
  • Develop annual plan and budget developments for sub-department to align with department-wide’s strategy including ensue budget adherence to the approved budget
  • Lead SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with business objective and regulatory requirement
  • Track operating progress and result against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; develop action plans as needed
  • Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
