Primary Purpose:
 
The Mechanical / Electrical / Piping Engineer position will be assigned to assist the Equipment Manager to manage the placement and supply of equipment and tools in the project, maintenance and repair both in the project and workshop, and the interdisciplinary interfaces in close liaison with project manager either a role in providing the equipment on time and ready to use, giving input to project manager on equipment management and equipment usage. Under equipment manager supervision, the individual performs project management assignments according capability and experience.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Organize the placement of equipment at the project site
  • Maintain, and remedial works of the equipment both at the project site and workshop
  • Install the piping and wiring of equipment as per drawing
  • Record and prepare the equipment condition report
  • Provide manual operation and maintenance for new equipment
  • Analyze, prepare and provide the sufficient equipment that needed for project
  • Provide the equipment condition report & placement
  • Perform calibration of measuring instrument
  • Manage supply of equipment for project site
  • Perform related duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Associates degree of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university, Vocational High School is encouraged to apply;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical/piping, servicing & breakdowns;
  • Good understanding in engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical measurement tools usage
  • Excellent in operate CAD and Microsoft Office software for drawing and analysis;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and to produce technical reports;
  • Understands and applies safety requirements in the field;
  • Carry out minor remedial works at project site and workshop;
  • Experience in piping and wiring installation;
  • Be able to work in under pressure environment;
  • Willing to learn and doing continuous improvement;
  • Willing to be assigned in the project and flexibility to travel;
